14th National and 5th International
Conference in Engineering Thermodynamics

4-6 June 2025 | Zaragoza, Spain
The University of Zaragoza will host the 14th National and 5th International Conference on Engineering Thermodynamics (14CNIT). Since 1999, this conference has been held biennially, bringing together professors, researchers, and technicians in the fields of thermal engineering and thermodynamics to share their research and teaching work in these areas.
The conference will focus on the following topics:

  1. Energy, exergy, environmental, and economic analysis of thermal systems
  2. Renewable energy and circularity
  3. Heat and mass transfer processes
  4. Fuels, combustion, pyrolysis, and gasification
  5. Thermal engines and their subsystems
  6. Numerical simulation and modeling in thermal engineering
  7. Refrigeration, HVAC and indoor air quality (IAQ)
  8. Thermophysical properties of materials and fluids
  9. Educational innovation and digital tools

This year, the conference will be held in person with an international scope in Zaragoza from Wednesday, June 4, 2025, to Friday, June 6, 2025. The program will be structured over three days, with oral presentations and poster sessions. There will also be plenary sessions, with speakers to be announced soon, and a technical visit will be organized.

Abstract preparation

The Organizing Committee invites you to submit abstracts up to 200 words that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the Conference topics.
Extended abstracts will be 4 pages long. Maximum 2 abstracts per person.
